Sterling College Consultants is owned and operated by Kalendarium, Inc., a college admissions consulting firm located in the Sacramento Metro Region of Northern California. We are parents, educators and mentors who are dedicated to helping students reach their college admission goals. We work with and guide students and parents on navigating the entire college admission process by presenting all the required steps in a unique, easy to follow format. We have tested our methods for college admission with great success over the past 10 years and found both students and parents easily observe upcoming tasks and deadlines and can work together to achieve student aspirations of college admission with the maximum number of scholarships and grants. Steve Sterling |
 Steve is Co-Founder of Kalendarium,
Inc. a private college admissions consulting firm, and Co-Founder of
MyCollegeCalendar, Inc., a leading online college admissions portal,
where he has researched, developed and tested his innovative approach
to the college admission process since 1999. Steve works directly
with and guides multitudes of college-bound high school students
and their parents every year. For the past 23 years he has taught
and mentored college students at the university and community college
levels. Steve is the author of two guides on college admissions, Sterling's
College Admission Survival Guide for Juniors and Sterling's
College Admission Survival Guide for Seniors. Steve is a frequent
key note speaker at college admission-related events on the West
Coast and has been profiled by numerous publications and appeared
on and interviewed by a variety of media organizations. Steve is
an active member of the Western Association of College Admission
Counselors (WACAC), an active member of the National Education Association
(NEA), and an active member of the California Teachers Association
(CTA). Steve received his BS and MBA degrees from California Lutheran
University and his MS from California State University, Northridge. |
Dottie Sterling |
 Dottie is Co-founder and
the CEO of Kalendarium Inc., a private college admission consulting
firm and Chair of the Board of Advisors for MyCollegeCalendar,
Inc., a leading online college admissions portal. Since 1992 she
has been a student mentor, counselor and instructional aid and for
the past 10 years she has actively mentored, guided and personally
directed hundreds of high school students and parents through the
college admission process. In the private sector, she has created
more than 350 mentoring relationships between volunteer adults and
students. In 1997 she received the California Lutheran University
Humanitarian Service Award for distinguished service to human welfare
and social reform. She earned her BS degree from California Lutheran
University. |
